Our services
Companionship
Companionship is the cornerstone of life, providing an essential source of support, understanding, and belonging. At Custos Care, we believe companionship should never feel clinical. It should feel natural, enriching, and truly meaningful.
We offer a diverse range of companions, from artists and musicians to composers, ballerinas, and more. Whatever your interests, we are confident in finding someone who connects with you on a personal level.
Many of our companions are eager to build friendships with the older generation, learning from their experiences and listening to their incredible life stories. They are not just carers—they are friends who value your wisdom, company, and conversation.
Home Support
Home Support entails anything and everything one might require help with, whether it be keeping the home in good order, or assisting with personal administrative tasks like bills and technology assistance.
We offer a visits (minimum of two hours) to assist with any number of tasks including, but not limited to:
Answering and sending emails, diary management
Applying for Attendance Allowance
Mending, cleaning, laundry, gardening, dog walking, carrying shopping bags etc.
Attending galleries, following exercise routines, fine dining (where the carer shops, cooks, serves, clears, washes up), personal care duties, dressing, board games etc.
Most importantly, marking important dates with a personal touch, whether it's an anniversary, birthday, or holy day
Live-in Care
Choosing the right carer for your loved one is an important decision. We understand how much they mean to you, which is why our dedicated carers provide support with kindness, patience, and respect - caring for them as if they were their own family.
Our Live-in Care services are tailored to meet individual needs and can include:
Physical assistance with daily activities
Medication reminders for peace of mind
Home-cooked meals and nutritional support
Transportation to appointments and errands
Friendly companionship to ease loneliness and bring comfort
Personalised morning and evening routines for a smooth and familiar start and end to the day
Our goal is to help your loved one maintain independence while ensuring they feel safe, valued, and well cared for—all in the comfort of their home.
Chaperone Service
Our founder was often asked to chaperone friends and family to and from appointments that involve sedation. It occurred to William that this is a requirement of many clinics which conduct sedated treatments. This is a service Custos Care can provide to those who don't have friends or family available to them to accompany them to their appointments.
This service would include preparation, transportation to and from the appointment, waiting during the procedure, and being available until the patient is comfortable or a family or friend can arrive.
Treatments which often require sedation include:
Biopsy
Dental surgery
Minor bone fracture repair
Plastic or reconstructive surgery
Procedures to diagnose and treat stomach, colon, lung, and bladder conditions.
Respite Care
Being a carer is a deeply rewarding role, but it also comes with challenges. To provide the best care for others, you must first take care of yourself.
At Custos Care, we offer flexible respite care to give family members and caregivers the time they need to rest and recharge. Whether you need a few days to focus on your own health or a few weeks for a well-earned break, our compassionate carers are here to step in and provide seamless support.
During this time, your loved one will receive:
Attentive, one-on-one care tailored to their needs
Companionship and engaging activities to keep them mentally and emotionally fulfilled
Help with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
Taking time for yourself isn’t just important—it’s necessary. With our respite care services, you can have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in safe, caring hands while you take the time you need to recharge.

“I want to thank you VERY much for all your help with the care you provided for our dear mother over the last couple of years. We are so grateful. The carers that came to look after Mum without exception were all wonderful.”
Custos client
“In my mother’s last week, our carer was a huge solace to us all, caring, and vigilant; he always lightened the mood, and found solutions to the various stresses and difficulties. The whole episode went as smoothly, and as lovingly, as I believe was possible. My mother could not have wished for a more compassionate end."
